Robotics Club: Math Enrichment through Robotics

Robotics Club enhances the quality of our academic program by providing an opportunity for enrichment through hands-on applications and technological advancements. Under the direction of Ms. Marie Kinkoph, Robotics Club members employ deductive reasoning, problem solving, and trial and error. The Engineering component of our program provides an incentive for future careers in that field. Robotics Club members see the endless ways their robots and robots of the future can be utilized to provide a better quality of life for all people.

Playwrights

The Playwrights was established this year to create a script recounting the founding and major events of Metro Catholic in honor of our 25th Anniversary. Professional actor, Bill Morgan, from Signstage was engaged through Young Audiences of Ohio to teach script writing to Playwrights members. Students learned the fundamentals of theatre vocabulary stage direction and performance. The play is now in the hands of the Drama Club which has been commissioned to perform the play in April.

Drama Club Steps Up Intensity

With the presentation of The Necklace just a few rehearsals away, lines are polished, dance style enhanced, staging is perfected, costumes are sampled.Our Drama Club started out small but has progressed to the big stage with a lot of professional help along the way.
