Metro Catholic School provides many opportunities both during and after school for students to grow and learn.

Programs enhance students’ academic experiences and broaden their appreciation for the rich and often unexplored culture that surrounds them.

Middle school students use a wide variety of materials to create art.

Middle schoolers explore the themes and techniques used in classic films such as The Wizard of Oz and Jurassic Park. They learn about the historical context of the movies, discuss their lasting impact on people today, and even reenact iconic film moments.

In this extracurricular, students use meditations and other proven practices to quiet our bodies and minds from what can be a hectic, busy and sometimes loud day.

In this elective, students use science, technology, engineering, art, and math to complete projects.

In this elective course, students in grades 3-5 design a school newspaper, interview teachers and classmates about events happening throughout the month, write articles, and publish a monthly newspaper. 

In this elective, students learn about making healthy food decisions, practice yoga, and find peace of mind by meditating through faithful words.

Students in Grades 2-5 can learn the basics of the french language, geography, and culture.

Students in grades 2-5 learn and perform in a show.

Middle grades students learn formatting in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel Spreadsheets, Google Drive/Classroom, typing, and online safety.

Eighth-grade students selected based on behavior, academics, and leadership potential meet during the day and plan school events to help better the school community.

Students in this club learn the basics of the Spanish language as well as the history and cultures of Spanish-speaking countries.

This group of eighth graders help support school-wide events.

Students at any skill level can join us after school and learn chess strategies and participate in a school-wide tournament at the end of the year. 

Students learn the fundamentals of volleyball and compete with other schools through CYO.

Students compete with other teams through CYO.
